If you know me you know I'm obsessed with the 90s rnb. My favorite singer is one in a million AALIYAH. There's a huge similarity when it comes to my style and Aaliyah's. From the all black outfits, to sunglasses, dark black hair and dark or light colored red lipstick. Aaliyah has been my girl since I was 7 yrs old. I remember ALWAYS dialing in to "THE BOX" music video channel and requesting to see "At your Best (remix)" video. That was and still is my favorite video. Her style and energy was like no other. She was street but sweet. Very mysterious but still elegant, classy and sexy. Shy but she knew what she wanted and went after it. She was a very smart and wise woman at such a young age. I LOVED the way she spoke when getting interviewed. Her face was just so eye catching. Remarkable beauty with the perfect smile and dimples like me (hehe). Her voice very similar to my style but of course hers is a lot better. Her vibe was just so "cool" and I've been told that I remind people of Aaliyah just by sitting and not saying a word. Not going to lie I embrace it while at the same time being me. She's my soul sista. I hate that this new generation doesn't know who she is.
